Alex and Oliver have a substitute brother and sister relationship. When Alex misses her brother Decky most, Oliver turns up and she takes care of him. He reminds her of Decky and she even goes with Oliver to the kirmis, where she also has spent her last day with Decky. As the men with sticks and rope tell Alex that they want to take Oliver to hell, Alex says that she wants to go there instead. Oliver however explains to her that this was set up by the men with sticks and rope and that this is just what they want her to do. So Alex tells Oliver to go with his brother Albert through the door to the other side. Oliver closes the door and the men with sticks and ropes are destroyed and vanish.
