Anthony Michael McNair was a werewolf living in Barry Island, Wales with his son Thomas.

Biography

Prior to becoming a werewolf McNair was a hard-working man with a lot of integrity. However, he was captured by four vampires who forced him to fight a werewolf inside a reinforced steel cage. McNair won the fight, but at a cost. He was scarred by the beast and thus infected with the curse of the werewolf. That occurred 16 years before the present day (2011).

The transformation changed McNair, turning him into a man with firm and focused goals in life. One, to protect and care for his son Thomas; and two, to get revenge on Herrick and the rest of vampirekind for what they did to him.

In the first episode of series 3, entitled "Lia", McNair is kidnapped by vampires yet again, bundled into the back of a van and dragged into a familiar situation. On this occasion he was the wolf who was forced to battle a human inside a cage for the entertainment of vampires. After transforming into his bestial form McNair killed the man but was not freed. Later on Vincent, the creepy leader of the vampire nest, taunted McNair from behind the cage wall. Fortunately for McNair, Thomas snuck into the warehouse and staked the vampire before freeing his father. The two fled before anymore vampires found them, with Thomas informing his father that he had found other werewolves (namely George).

Mcnair and Tom both returned in episode four, when George and Nina found them in the woods to question them about a werewolf pregnancy, but a DNA test carried out by Nina revealed that Tom wasn't actually McNair's son; McNair had killed Tom's parents and infe

cted him when he ran wild during an early transformation. Eventually Mitchell and McNair came into confrontation with each other, which lead to Mitchell handing McNair over to vampires Richard and Emma. Unfortunately, only George, Nina and Tom were kidnapped and forced to fight in the cage. However Mitch

ell and McNair partnered up and saved them, creating an uncertain truce between them, to the point that a transforming McNair bypassed Mitchell to attack Richard. Tom and McNair then set off for cornwall.

Mcnair and Tom return in episode 7, McNair was wounded in a fight with a group of vampires and uses this as an excuse to stay in the hotel for the full moon, where he transforms in Herrick's attic room, with the intention of killing him, but is killed by Herrick who stabbed him in the chest. His body is discovered in a pool of it's own blood by Mitchell the following day, next to an apparently traumatised Herrick. Tom later found McNair's body and buried it in the forest
