So, it has been confirmed by Syfy that after 4 amazing seasons, they're hit show, spinoff to BBC's Being Human, will be cancelled. It is unknown why, but rumors say that new head of the channel has chosen this as one of the shows to be cut. It seems quite strange to me, as this show seems to be the only reason why most even tune in to the channel. I was dearly miss all the characters and cast. For more info on the shows cancelation click here; http://www.syfy.com/beinghuman/article/goodbye_being_human
I thought you might want to know: The 4th Season will be the last season of the Being Human (Syfy):
I would like to know how do you like the new navigation bar? What do you like, what do you think needs to be changed?
Do you prefer if Becoming Human is listed under Show Universe or if it's listed next to Show Universe?
Do you have any other suggestions?
Please reply! Every opinion is important! Thanks!
Since none of the admins seem to be active anymore and the last edit of a page by an admin was in April 2013: I think we'll need 2-3 active new admins + 1-2 (maybe more) bureaucrats. So that posts like this one can be deleted: User_blog:Andrewjohn6985 and so that we are finally able to get a new navigation menu. I think we'll need 2 bureaucrats (maybe s.o. for Being Human BBC, and s.o. for Being Human Syfy) since someone needs to be able to add new admins.
So far I think the users who can do this are: (read the adoption
and me Dynara
I would like to be an admin and bureaucrat but I think someone else needs to be an bureaucrat too and we also need some ne…
I just thought a new navigation menu would be great. One which does not only include the characters, cast and episodes but everything else: locations, genaral information about the show, events etc. I think it is easier to find something if you do not have to look through the whole Being Human BBC/Syfy category with all the characters. I have just made an image how it could look like: http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t525/Keyana231/example232123a_zps9f919678.png (Maybe the Places category could be added to the Miscellaneous category, if two new categories would be to much.) What do you think?

Can someone add the ritual and verbal spell used to bring Sally back via the Sav?
Here is the last scene, some will be happy, some will be sad
I noticed the changes in the timeline in the US series characters so i decided that we need to figure it out. Before the start of the series Josh was turned by Ray in 2009 and season1 takes place 2 years later. Season 2 takes place about 2 weeks later and season three is a year later. That would make the year 2012 but in the latest episode Josh said he has been fighting with the curse for five years, so either he was turned in 2007 or the year is 2014.
Although there will be a final bonus scene in the dvd of series 5, lets examine whats most likely happening after the shows done, assuming the devil is indeed dead and they arent dreaming:
Hal, Tom and Alex are probably trying to live supernatural free lives. I would like to think Hal and Tom go back to work at the Hotel, maybe Alex joins. I would like to think Alex goes back to her family, maybe Tom reaches out to Alison, maybe Hal reaches out to Lady Mary, Adam, others. I would basically like to think they are having happy normal lives. HOWEVER if only those 3 turned human after the devils defeat and not all vampires, werewolves and ghosts, they might have that to notify. I doubt Alex would want to become a ghost again, she didnt like it …
One word. Awesome. Okay, only another thousand words to go!
I've sticked with Being Human for a long time, even when the cast changed. And you know what? I think Series 4 and 5 (despite their flaws) are the best series, well a honorable mention must go to Series 1 which is the best series with the original cast.
Now onto the Last Broadcast. Right from the Putting on the Ritz scene to the that final shot of the origami wolf; I loved every minute of this episode. Somethings do feel a little rushed here and there, but overall, its freaking amazing. Molony, Socha and Bracken really brought their best performances yet. Their dream worlds are my personal favorite part of the episode. I loved Allison's cameo, but I do wish McNair was there too. Rob…
SyFy's Being Human finally is back on our TVs!! In the premiere, things were set up for Season 3, but we were still left wondering what was going to happen with our favorite supernatural characters!
Here is a small recap in case you missed it:
- In the premiere, 15 months have passed since the events in the Season 2 finale.
- There was APPARENTLY a vampire flu that conveniently wiped out Mother and the gang while Aidan was trapped underground as punishment.
- A lot of hallucinating on Aidan's part. Mark Pellegrino made an appearance as Bishop to mock his blood-starved fledgeling.
- Ray died which freed Josh, but killing Ray didn't free Nora because Ray didn't make Norah.
- Sally is out of limbo! And she's alive! With a little help from the neighborhood witc…
When Season 2 ended, we were left off with Aidan buried alive as a punishment from vampire leader Mother, Sally was in a state of limbo, and Josh's plot to kill his maker Ray, which endangered Nora.
Where in the world is Season 3 going to take us? With the premiere coming up (January 14, to be exact), it's time to make our predictions of what is going to happen to our favorite supernatural characters!
- Sally claims that she has found a way out of Limbo but she needs the boys' help, we're thinking that she will probably be able to get out...but maybe not in the first episode.
- Amy Aquino is joining the cast as Donna, a witch whose supernatural spells are sought out to help find Sally, but we're thinking that she might cause more trouble than the…
I've recently seen an advert on BBC Three showing all of its upcoming shows and series and I saw some clips from Being Human Series 5 on it, which begs the question, will Series 5 be coming out soon? And, if so, does anyone know the date?
If so, list them in the comment section please and thank you
I would immediately start the episode with a time jump to how the Men in Grey once again clean up a supernatural mess at a strip bar, having come from Hal. They go back stating how they need to have a major meeting. Anyways a week before states Tom and Alexs regimen to get Hal off the blood is to get him addicted to all kinds of liqour and drugs like cocaine. They state they dont want him near women and being addicted to sex because his vampiric urge will get the better of him. Then Tom goes back to his work, while Hal attempts to help Alex with her unfinished business. They have a hard time and Alex has no idea how to help. Then one week later on a night, Tom comes home only to find Hal, having been bored and depressed went out to a strip…
What do you all think created the werewolves? Im not necessarily asking who are the original werewolves, more like what made them
Supernatural method(Most likely)
Crystal, stone, virus, etc.
Supernatural creature(Most likely)
God or Godess
Deal with demon or devil
Is there any website on here that I can ask the creators of Being Human UK/US questions about the show? And dont say Twitter cause I tried that already and couldnt find them.
Title says all. Seriously, this wiki needs a bit of sprucing up, updating, and organization.
I've begun making and redoing certian templates in order to fit in information better, however more needs to be done by the look of this wiki. Come on, everyone, we all loves our Being Human
What if mother is just the oldest vampire in United States and what if the Dutch are older? Remember Aidan said the dutch came here because its the closest to an orthodox lifestyle but what if Mother only controls Heggeman because she is the oldest in America and he lives on American soil, and if Suren is Mothers true daughter before they became vampires and if Suren is over 700 years old, then Mother would be as well.
Although from a certain point of view they appear to be good, saying they work for humans and perhaps they truly do, i think they are another evil faction. And to be honest I think this "domestic staff of the world" are supernatural in nature, and i think they are wizards. They already gave some hints to it:
"Like when Dorothy saw behind the curtain"(Wizard of Oz)
"We are like magicians and can make people dissapear in a puff of smoke"
"No rest for the wicked"(Wicked Witch)
So yes I think they are wizards and that Mr Rook truly saw Alex but pretended he really didnt, or at least felt their presence and I think they are gonna "clean up" the mess of what happened at that nightclub and eliminate alex, hal and tom. Here is a little character bio o…
Also can someone answer this question to whoever watches the UK version? Are the Old Ones just the oldest vampires in the UK or oldest vampires on the planet?
Have you guys noticed the new pages added recently by wikia contibuters (GoetzMcadams665, EscalanteGerhardt644, HimesGreenlaw357) well, I think that they're advertisements created for writing courses and an alarm system, if so, we should delete them right?
Hey where in the usa/uk versions does it list the ages of the following vampires? Mother, Mr Snow, Edgar Wydnham, Hal, Suren, Heggeman? I dont remember anywhere in the show where it lists the age of them
Okay, so after watching the season 2 finale of being human, here is my prediction on some of the characters:
Aidan-He will either be written off and be buried or maybe he will be freed, possibly by Henry or Josh and attempt to kill Mother and spend the whole season doing so, and try to get help from Atlee, Henry and the Dutch
Josh/Nora-As seen in the last minute, two gunshots were fired, hitting two of the werewolves or either Josh, Ray or Nora, so either Nora shot Ray and Ray shot Josh or Ray shot Nora and Nora shot Ray at the same time, and even though Ray might have died or Josh might have eliminating the curse for both or one of them, it might turn out they didnt die and were just injured and run off while Josh and Nora have to deal with…
Hello. I'm TheGhostMan or better known as Ghost. I'd like to offer everyone here membership to Being Human Roleplaying Wiki. There you can play as a Vampire, Werewolf, Ghost, or a Human. We just started and we have plenty in store so come on down to the site and make an Initiation.
Who do you all think this Mother character is? Obviously she is older than the dutch and commands them and is extremely quick and was able to kill those two vampires like its nothing. Do you think she is just the mother of vampires in the states or mother of all vampires in the entire world? Also regardless of whether she is mother of vampires in the usa or entire planet, do you think she is the first, oldest and strongest of all vampires or just the oldest and strongest? Also do you think she has any special abilities other vampires dont have? Like immune to certain weaknesses or do you think they stay even at her age? Obviously we will find out next week since Aidan is gonna try and kill her so we will see if Mother is immune to death b…

TV Line reports that according to Syfy sources a certain actor (and, therefore, character) will make a surprising return to the Syfy version of Being Human.
The actor is Mark Pellegrino, who will return to the role of James Bishop despite him having been killed. At this point, it's not known whether the character will somehow be brought back to life or will simply appear in flashbacks. I guess we'll need to wait for the second season to find out!

Not familiar with Dichen Lachman? You should be, because she's coming to Being Human as a series regular next season! Variety reports that this stunning actress of Dollhouse fame will be portraying an ancient (but gorgeous, obviously) vampire Izumi, "a reclusive, centuries-old vampire who causes upheaval” when she returns to her old Boston stomping grounds.
What do you think, Being Human fans? I can't wait to see her when Season 4 airs in 2012!
So I've been watching the BBC version of Being Human and am already on Episode 7 of season 2, as I've been watching it I've been wondering. Is it just me or do most episodes not written by Toby Whithouse totally suck? Not all of them mind you. The one where Mitchell is thought to be a pedophile was rather good (didn't care much for the ending) and there are other episodes, but I literally just finished episode 6 of season 2 and just felt the whole time that it was total garbage and didn't make me feel anything for the characters. It started off well but seemed to be taking itself too seriously. I couldn't wait for it to end. Episode 7 seems like it will be good and seeing as how Mr Whithouse wrote it, I think it will be pretty good. So has…

Zombies have become part of the Being Human universe and I like the concept and it seems cool. There deemed as type fours and should hint that maybe there a number of other supernatural being stalking the streets of the U.K. Your thoughts and what else you might like to see in this or indeed thr next season of the series?
Hi, I haven't seen the original BBC series. I thought the Syfy series was pretty good, character driven, decent acting, and darker than I thought it would be. Am wondering how it compares to the BBC version which I would imagine is hard to top?
Hi, the wiki's been inactive for a while; so I thought I'd liven it up a bit by redoing the skin. I'm currently working through the main page, but will try to get to the wiki side of things before the new series starts, atleast I hope :P. Everyone else can always help, lol... there's a tonne of pages that need making, and the ones we already have need re-doing. New templates and infoboxes are probably needed aswell...
