Herrick is protrayed by Adrian Lester in the pilot, and only appears for a very short time. He took care of Lauren after Mitchell killed and attempted to turn her. He had desires and plans to take over the world, believing vampires shouldn't hide in shadows, they should wash across the world completely. He had arrangements in place to complete this mission, and informed Mitchell to be careful when choosin his friends and enemies. He is darker and less down to earth than the Herrick portrayed by Jason Watkins.
