- Hal: "I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the chance to kill me."
- Lady Catherine: "I'm surprised there wasn't a queue."
- ―Lady Catherine tries to kill Hal
Lady Catherine (born 1890) is a woman who was bitten and became a werewolf. She became the leader of the werewolf army in their fight against a similar army of Vampires lead by Hal. The war had been raging between the two for seven years by 1918, with Hal remarking that it was probably responsible for setting off the war in the Human world.
In 1918, in Northern France, Lady Catherine discovers the location where Hal is based and sneaks in, quietly killing guards in the process, to attempt to assassinate Hal. Hal disarms her and reveals that he allowed Lady Catherine to learn of his location, knowing that she would not be able to resist the chance to assassinate him.
When she arrived, Hal engaged her in a brief fight, after which he requested that they parley. It was then that he revealed to her his suspicion that the vampires and werewolves were both being manipulated by none other than The Devil.
