Rent a ghost is the ability of ghosts to teleport to another place. Ghosts have to learn to use this ability.
When ghosts are teleporting to another place they can take non-living things with them. As vampires are not alive ghosts can teleport with them. However ghosts can not teleport with humans or werewolves, because they are alive.
At first Annie uses this ability only when she is frightened. She teleports away after seeing George's transformation into a werewolf. After she resolved her unfinished buisiness she did it more often and at will. Alex however was taught how to teleport by Annie. Alex Millar teleports Hal Yorke and herself out of Stoker Import and Exports when Annie blows it up.
