Rufus was a ghost baby who appeared in episode 5 of Series 2. His mother, Kathleen, who was also a ghost, took him to Annie's house because she was going on a date with a ghost fireman and needed a babysitter.
At first Annie doesn't want to take care of Rufus, but then she likes him so much, that she doesn't want to return him to Kathleen.
