Series 5 is the fifth series of Being Human. It has been confirmed for a 2013 broadcast date. It has also been confirmed that Damien Molony, Michael Socha and Kate Bracken will reprise their roles as Hal, Tom and Alex respectively. This will be the first series to not feature any of the main characters from previous series and will act as 'reboot' of the cast. The BBC announced that there would six episodes for Series 5, rather than eight like the previous three series had.

The Men in Grey who appeared in the finale of the previous series could possibly be the villians of this series. This is likely because with the end of each series, a new threat is introduced for the next such as in Bad Moon Rising, Kemp is seen.

Confirmed Information

The creators of Being Human have promised the new series to be "bigger, bolder, braver and defiently more terrifying than ever". Whether this means there will be some sort of big story arc like last series is unknown.
Phil Davis will portray a character named "Captain Hatch" who was promised to "utterly disgusting". It is unknown if this character is part of new species or not.
Mr. Rook will appear as a series regular.
